About the Policy Center
The Policy Center is located within the School of Medicine at the University of California, San Francisco, where it is operated jointly by the Divisions of Adolescent Medicine and General Pediatrics (both within the Department of Pediatrics) and the Institute for Health Policy Studies.

Dr. Irwin is Professor and Vice Chairman of Pediatrics, and Director of the Division of Adolescent Medicine at the UCSF School of Medicine.
Claire D. Brindis, Dr.P.H.
Dr. Brindis is a Professor in the Department of Pediatrics, Division of Adolescent Medicine and the Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology and Reproductive Sciences at UCSF.
Paul Newacheck, Dr.P.H.
Paul W. Newacheck is Professor of Health Policy and Pediatrics at the Institute for Health Policy Studies and the Department of Pediatrics at UCSF.
